As of writing this review it's been three months since I read the book, so I don't remember the details well.

I didn't really like it much. Largely because I disliked most of the main characters.
Except the Japanese guy, but only because I know he's played by the late Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa in the TV series--which I didn't watch--but Tagawa also plays Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat (1995 and MK11) and if you know me, you know that I love Mortal Kombat and Shang Tsung is my favorite character, so...

Yeah, back to the book.

Honestly, didn't really understand the I Ching thing at all, and just now upon googling I find out that it's a real thing.

I think I'm just not much of an alternate history kind of guy.

If you really think about this is just kind of like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, which isn't a bad thing because that was my second favorite book in elementary school.

I don't really have much to say. It's a fine little novel. A bit better than Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
