I feel I must apologize in advance.
I might disappear again for a few months, since school started again and I am supposed to study full-time.

This month I haven't been posting much, mostly cause I'm sewing a wig for a Halloween costume. And as you may have noticed, Halloween is in four days. So, as the kids would say,
I have to lock in.

I'm probably gonna add "Cosplay" under my "Quests" page soon, because I've done some in the past (and probably will in the future), which might be interesting to write about. Don't ask me why I'm sewing the wig myself instead of buying one on Amazon or something. You don't have to ask cause I will probably write about it later...
Let's just say I've made a promise five years ago (sounds very mysterious).

Started school a little early and had a block seminar last week (experimental 3D art),
from Monday to Friday, 9:30AM to 6PM.
It appears that was too much for my meek immune system and on Friday, after barely sleeping all night, I decided to take the day off.
Since Saturday I've been a little sick now. Temperature slightly higher, not high enough to be considered a fever but enough to make me feel a little delirious (though maybe that's just part of my personality).

You know how on my "Status" page next to the Vault Boy I have Ibuprofen as an item.
I've been lying to you, I prefer Paracetamol but there wasn't any funny Paracetamol video on YouTube for me to link. Sorry.

It's my birthday yay. Went to see King Kong (1933) in the cinema today.

My mother got me a Bonsai tree. I'm thinking of naming it "Banzai" (as in the Japanese expression) but when I told my family they thought I was just pronouncing Bonsai wrong.
I hope it will live long. I'm pretty okay with plants. I've had a palm tree for 11 years now, which has grown from like 20cm to 110cm tall but is comically skinny.

I believe I've been cursed. But talking too much about it might make it worse.
I just want you to know that since July, on average, something bad happened to me every second day (yes, I did the math).

The biggest incident being the reason I didn't update my website for so long. Through my own stupidity (amplified by being cursed) I've crippled myself in ways that I don't want to retell the details of. Basically, I've managed to get a 2nd degree chemical burn on the tip of my right index finger (I'm right handed).
On the pain scale from 1-10, I would say it was an eight. I was in so much pain that I was getting extremely dizzy. Though I did not lose consciousness (impressive) nor let out any sound (weird?), I did fall on my ass, hitting my right elbow on the wall.
My dear mother helped me back to bed (It was like 6AM maybe?). She brought me some Ibuprofen and a bowl of cold water to dip my finger in, which at this point I couldn't even feel.
Upon waking up I realized my arm, though not broken, I couldn't move without being in pain. I spent three days in a DIY sling (instead of going to the doctor).

I watched Hitchcock's Rear Window (1954) to feel less alone in my situation.

Took about two weeks till my arm didn't hurt anymore. My finger was blistered, then felt really raw, and only recently am I able to use it again without a bandage on.
I was unable to finish a school project.
I've started to draw with my left hand (which I had already practiced before, specifically, in case something like this happened
(I'm not crazy)).

Other bad things that happened since:
two more finger related injuries, unsuccessful job searches, unpaid labor, bruise (the size of a coke can) on my shin, bruise (the size of a golf ball) on my thigh, bruise (the size of a raspberry) on my arm, soured relationships (family) and movies that suck ass.

Also missed my Website's anniversary.
Let's just hope Websites aren't sentient, otherwise I would feel very bad about it.

So, I wanted to get a buzzcut again (had one in 2021 and 2022(?); I think). And of course, because it would be fun (and it was) I did it on my own at 1am.
So... I took off the hair clippers guard to clean it. When I put it back on I forgot to set it back to 9 or maybe 7 and I just, confidently, went straight through the front middle of my scalp, while the guard was set to 1. I'm not someone who's emotionally attached to their hair but now I'll wear a hat 24/7 for atleast a week to not make my dear mother cry. So, the plan in two weeks is to bleach and dye it a natural middle blond color and when it grows out I'll have frosted tips.
This is fine. Just a new experience in this stupid life. My hair grows fast, I'm sure... #noregrets

Dude I met at work on Tuesday, who studies to become a teacher, but shamelessly confesses that he uses ChatGPT for all his homework. The kids are DOOMED.

Anyway, going to see 28 years later at the cinema today.

I have officially become an actor. Playing an extra in a Techno-Club. I felt a little out of place since I've never been in a club before and look like a 14 year old.
Also we danced without music most of the time. I don't like going to clubs, I don't like dancing BUT 100€ is 100€. My phone's pedometer says I danced 5km worth of steps. I signed an NDA, though none of you probably watch this show. Anyway, tune into ZDF - Notruf Hafenkante sometime next year. Episode 500, I've been told.
Now back to being unemployed.

Also happy new year and stuff, nothing interesting been happening in my life. Was a little busy with school stuff too.

HALLOWEEN!
Had a little Halloween party with some friends. I'm not gonna name names but two people showed up without costumes and I will hold a grudge for some time.
I'm proud to present to you;
My Eraserhead Baby. Life-sized ca. 50cm. Newspaper and aluminum foil filled; head shaped round with a hammer, hot glued, googly-eyed, wrapped in expired bandages. I dressed as the guy in the movie, though my hair wouldn't stay up since it was extremely windy that day.

School started last Thursday!
For illustration class we'll be making a comic/graphic novel (4 weeks). We'll get to present it to a real publisher but that's just more of a practice interview, nobody will actually get published, probably.
Since my creative writing skills are
non-existent; I've decided to do a literary adaptation of Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett.
Haven't finished reading Act 2 yet so please don't leave spoilers in my Guestbook.

Today I went outside to send a letter. Across the street from the post office there was a band of trumpet(or some similiar instrument) players. As they say curiousity killed the cat. I'm still alive since I didn't go to ask what was up. Because there's a community centre nearby I assume they're hosting some kind of event.
The music kinda freaked me out. Something I would love to have at my jazz-themed funeral.

I'd like to share the story of what inspired me to start my own blog.
My cousin, his girlfriend and I were talking, about what I'm not sure, probably something real philosophical.
Does aluminum foil have an expiration date?...funny question, right?
I type it into Google expecting someone on Quora or Reddit to reassure me that aluminum foil, in fact, does not have an expiration date. Or does it?
I find a german blog post.
This guy wrote e-mails to five different stores claiming that he bought expired aluminum foil to see how they react. I've never been the type of person that reads blogs before but this guy really fascinated me.
And now sometimes I ask myself: What would Matt Wagner do? (the blogger, not the American comic artist and writer).
If you understand german (or just look at it and pretend you do) I highly recommend checking it out.
